Roslindale Green & Clean began as an offshoot of the 2004 Roslindale House and Garden Tour. A small group of people with an interest in gardening and landscaping wanted to see the proceeds from the tour go toward beautifying the community. They formed Roslindale Green & Clean to design, plant, and maintain public green spaces. The group incorporated as a nonprofit soon after.
Since then, volunteers from the organization have worked with various community groups to design and install plantings for several public green spaces around Roslindale Village. To date, all five of Roslindale Green & Clean’s original projects have been completed, and more are planned. Through special events like the Green Garden Exchange, the organization hopes to engage the greater community in order to help keep Roslindale green and clean.
Roslindale Green & Clean’s Board of Directors has nine members, including four officers. The annual meeting of the Board is held the second Tuesday of April each year. Our tax identification number is 20-1243989. For more information, please send inquiries to info@roslindalegreenandclean.org
