Roslindale Green & Clean is a 501(c )(3) all volunteer organization dedicated to creating and maintaining a clean and healthy Roslindale, through advocacy, outreach, public green space improvements, and the preservation and expansion of Roslindale’s tree canopy. The organization was founded by a group of dedicated volunteers after the 2004 Roslindale House and Garden tour.
Working in conjunction with a number of community organizations RG&C has successfully designed, installed and maintained multiple projects and green spaces throughout Roslindale. Samples of our award winning designs include Alexander the Great Park, the Roslindale Branch of the Boston Public Library, and Savage Mini Park. In the fall of 2011, RG&C kicked off their community tree planting program whereby Roslindale homeowners receive a tree of their choosing planted in their front yard.
Funding for RG&C programs comes from a number of sources, most notably the Roslindale Garden Tour and plant sales held at the Roslindale Farmers’ Market. RG&C has organized three garden tours to date. Please contact RG&C garden tour if you are interested in having your garden considered for a future tour.
